What a Website Costs in Wilmington, NC

BACK TO INSIGHTS

If you run a small business in Wilmington, one of the first questions about a new website is simple: what will it cost? It's hard to plan a budget without real numbers. This post lays out what a website costs at CS Interactive, using the same prices listed on the site. It covers what each package includes, what changes the price, what you might pay after launch, and how long a project usually takes.

The Short Answer

Custom websites at CS Interactive start at $975. The final price depends on the package you choose and any optional add-ons. Most projects go from kickoff to launch in 2–5 weeks.

What Each Package Includes

There are three packages. You can see the full details on the website design page.

Basic: Starting at $975

Basic is a custom website for a business that wants a professional online presence and wants potential customers to feel more confident. It includes up to 5 custom pages, an about page, a photo gallery, a contact form, professional content writing and editing, basic SEO setup, responsive design for phones, tablets, and computers, and help with launch and hosting setup.

Five pages is often enough for a home page, services, about, gallery, and contact.

Premium: Starting at $1,975

Premium is for a business that needs more pages, more features, and the ability to edit the site later. It includes everything in Basic, plus up to 10 custom pages.

It includes easy website updates with a CMS (content management system), so you can change text and photos yourself.

It also includes enhanced SEO setup, an FAQ page or section, an interactive Google Map, an enhanced quote or request form, and online appointment scheduling.

Ultra: Contact for Pricing

Ultra is a fully custom build for a business that needs advanced design, features, and flexibility. It includes everything in Premium, plus unlimited custom pages (within reason), a completely custom design, animations and visual effects, an advanced project gallery, advanced SEO setup, and custom features and integrations.

Because the scope of an Ultra site varies so much, it's priced after a conversation about what you need.

Add-Ons

If Basic covers most of what you need, you can add specific features without moving up to Premium.

Additional page: $150.

CMS, so you can edit the site yourself: $250.

Online appointment scheduling: $100.

Interactive Google Map: $50.

Add-ons apply to Basic websites. Extra pages can also be added to Premium.

What Changes the Price

Every project starts from one of the packages above. These are the things that move a project from one level to the next, or add to it:

Number of pages. More services, locations, or topics usually mean more pages to plan, write, and build.

Features. Booking, maps, quote forms, galleries, and custom integrations all add work.

Editing. If you want to update the site yourself, it needs a CMS. That's included in Premium and available as an add-on for Basic.

Design detail. A fully custom design with animations takes more time than a clean, focused layout.

Content. Content writing and editing are included in every package. Projects with a lot of pages or detailed services take more writing.

Ongoing Costs

A website needs somewhere to live after launch. At CS Interactive, you have two options, and neither is required.

Host it yourself. Once your project is paid for, the website belongs to you. If you'd rather manage it on your own, the code and hosting project are transferred to accounts you own.

Use a hosting plan. If you'd rather not deal with the technical side, there are two monthly plans.

Basic Hosting: $35/month. Secure hosting on Netlify, website monitoring, backups and version history, and fixes for minor hosting or deployment issues.

Website Care: $99/month. Everything in Basic Hosting, plus up to one hour of content updates each month. That covers things like text changes, photo replacements, updated hours or prices, new gallery projects, and small layout tweaks.

Hosting plans don't cover new pages, major redesigns, new features, e-commerce, or SEO campaigns. Those are quoted separately. If you cancel a plan, the site is transferred to accounts you own so you can keep it running. You can read more on the hosting and care page.

Branding Costs

Some businesses need a logo or business cards along with a new website. CS Interactive offers both at set prices:

Logo design: $325. Includes a discovery call, three original concepts, two rounds of revisions, primary and alternate versions plus an icon, color and font suggestions, and print and digital files you own.

Business card design: $200. A custom double-sided card built around your logo, with two design directions, two rounds of revisions, and a print-ready file. Printing is quoted separately.

How Long It Takes

Most websites take 2–5 weeks from start to finish. Smaller Basic sites are usually faster. Larger sites can take longer depending on the number of pages, features, revisions, and how quickly feedback comes in.

Timing also depends on content being ready, so having your photos, logo, and business details together before kickoff helps keep things moving.

How Payment Works

You don't pay everything upfront. A deposit reserves your project and starts the work, and the remaining balance is due before launch. If your project needs a different payment structure, that can be discussed before anything starts.

Working Directly With Cam

CS Interactive is an owner-led studio based in the Wilmington area. Cam plans, writes, designs, builds, and refines every project, so the person you talk to on the first call is the person building your site. You always know who is doing the work and where the project stands.

The project load is kept limited so each website gets close attention. Work can also be done fully remotely if you're outside the Wilmington area.
